History

The Dutch engineer, Wieger Wiegersma, started Axxion Industries in 1993 in Holland.
Axxion developed the continuous honeycomb production system step by step into the Single Step Core system of today, called the Axxion SSC system. This system is capable of producing honeycomb in an extremely efficient way with all means of process-controlled production.
The Axxion group has dedicated herself completely to the production of honeycomb using the Axxion SSC system technology.
Today the Axxion group is selling through Axxor to majority of the door industries, the furniture industries, automotive suppliers, construction material producers and the packaging companies through out Europe.
Wieger Wiegersma and Jos Verschuren today manage the Axxion Group companies.

Paper Honeycomb Industry Needs Standards

Because of increasing mechanisation in our customers' production processes, the demand for guaranteed and consistent high product quality has risen. Regretfully, we find that many wild stories about quality are told, most of them ununsubstantiated. Our company spends a lot of energy on checking and verifying. We have started a survey to find out how we can describe and set certain standards for our industry. We are investigating the possibility of establishing an association to support this. Even though we compete with our competitors each day, the health of our industry is set by the quality and the professionalism we offer as an industry. The future of our industry is also strongly determined by the capability to open up new markets. A reliable product of the highest quality is key to that success.
